The Pompano Beach Complex is a proposed $250 million project along the ocean and Intracoastal waterway in Pompano Beach. The proposed project will be located on approximately fourteen (14) acres just north of Atlantic Boulevard and will include luxury residential condominium towers, a state-of-the art aquatic complex and a National Training Center that will be home to the International Swimming Hall of Fame ("ISHOF") and up to six National Governing Bodies for Olympic Sports ("Olympic Sports").

In addition to ISHOF, the Pompano Beach Complex will be occupied by the following Olympic Sports: USA Diving, USA Water Polo, USA Volleyball, USA Table Tennis, USA Badminton and USA Team Handball. The combination of events and programs generated by these organizations will greatly enhance the prestige of the City of Pompano Beach and transform it into a national and international destination.

The three principle components of The Pompano Beach Complex are further described below.

1. A state-of-the-art aquatics facility that will be home to ISHOF and the National Training Center. The facility will include: (i) two 50-meter pools and a diving well suitable for hosting international competitions with as many as 2,500 spectators: (ii) a conference/banquet facility which can accommodate up to 1,000 people (iii) a 10,000 square foot museum and art gallery; (iv) an internationally acclaimed aquatics library that may be combined with a branch of the Broward County Library; and (v) a fully equipped state-of-the-art fitness center. A 1,000-space parking garage will also be incorporated into the facility and will be available to visitors to the Pompano Beach Complex and the beach.

2. Up to 630 luxury condominium units. The units will be designed to average approximately 2,000 square feet, attracting permanent residents to the beach, and contributing to the area's long term economic vitality.

3. The "Pompano Beach Plaza", a pedestrian-friendly promenade to be created by closing the street adjacent to the beach to vehicular traffic. Two first-class restaurants located at the street level of the condominiums will serve the Plaza and the beach.
