Michael J. Swerdlow
Mr. Swerdlow, Managing Partner of Swerdlow Group, has served in such capacity for
Swerdlow Group and its predecessors for more than 30 years.
During that time, he has been involved in all aspects of the
real estate business and he provides overall strategic direction
to the company. Mr. Swerdlow is actively involved in
all aspects of Swerdlow Group's business including the
evaluation and selection of new development opportunities,
major architectural design decisions and key professional
Brett M. Dill
Mr. Dill, President of Swerdlow Group, joined the company from Colony
Capital, Inc., and assists with acquisitions, new business development
and the development of corporate strategy. While at Colony, Mr. Dill
was responsible for the identification and evaluation of new investment
opportunities as well as strategic oversight of the firm's investment
portfolio. Prior to joining Colony, Mr. Dill worked in the Los Angeles
office of KPMG Peat Marwick, where he was a member of the real estate
and financial institutions group.
Mr. Posner is the Executive Vice President of Acquisitions and is responsible for deal originations and the structuring of all investments. Mr. Posner was part of a team that successfully negotiated deals and closed over $650 million dollars worth of acquisitions, construction and infrastructure loans on various Swerdlow properties. He is also actively involved in the Company’s operations and third party management work. Mr. Posner has worked on all financial aspects of Swerdlow’s industrial, retail, and residential portfolio during his tenure with the company. Mr. Posner received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from the University of California at Santa Barbara in 1998.
Mr. Swerdlow, Director of Marketing, joined Swerdlow Group in 2001
and is responsible for Operations and Marketing of the group's
projects. In addition to this role Richard is also CEO of Condo.com an affiliated company to Swerdlow Group. Prior to joining Swerdlow Group, Mr. Swerdlow founded Everything
Wireless, a wireless products cataloger and retailer which he grew from
a start up to a $50 million business with over 100 employees.
Mr. Swerdlow previously practiced law in the Public
Finance Department of Greenberg Traurig in Miami, Florida and is a member
of the New York and Florida Bar Associations.
Mr. Olmedillo joined Swerdlow Group in January, 2001.
Previously he spent 16 years in public office; 8 ½
years as the Director of the Department of Planning and Zoning
for Miami-Dade County and, prior to that, 7 ½
years in the City of Miami as Deputy Director for
its Planning and Zoning Department. Before his relocation
to South Florida, Mr. Olmedillo was a Regional Planning Director
in Venezuela and headed his own development firm for eight
Kenneth J. Scott, CPA
Mr. Scott, Chief Financial Officer, has been employed by the Swerdlow
Group since 1998 and is responsible for financial accounting and
reporting, tax compliance, budgeting, cash management and real estate
loan aquisition and maintenance. Prior to joining the Swerdlow Group,
Mr. Scott worked with several Boston area real estate companies including
Manley Berenson Associates, New England Development Company and Continental Realty Credit. Mr. Scott
was also a Manager in the Boston office of Coopers & Lybrand.
Mr. Foltz is the Project Executive Vice President, Mr. Foltz is responsible for managing the design and construction of all major projects. Prior to joining Swerdlow Group, Mr. Foltz worked for Boca Developers where he supervised the development efforts for projects throughout South Florida and the Daytona area. In this capacity Mr. Foltz was responsible for managing both the design and construction processes, from entitlement to project close-out. Prior to joining Boca Developers Mr. Foltz was the Project Director for the expansion of the Omni Hotel at CNN Center, Atlanta, Georgia. Prior to this Mr. Foltz was the Director of Design and Construction for Boca Resorts, Inc. Mr. Foltz began his project management career with Hemmeter Development in Waikoloa, Hawaii and New Orleans Louisiana.
Mrs. Compain joined Swerdlow Group in 1998 and is the Corporate Controller. She is primarily responsible for supervising the accounting and accounts payable departments. Her responsibilities include: financial accounting, management reporting, construction loan administration, job costing and budgeting, tax return coordination and cash management. Prior to joining Swerdlow Group, Mrs. Compain worked the Vernon Group, developers and managers of country clubs and marinas primarily located in South Florida. Mrs. Compain received her Bachelor of Arts in Accounting from Florida International University in 1985.
